BRANDON DENNIS ENDS HILLS' STREAK AT SEVEN IN MOD LITES
Former four-time Mod Lite champion, Brandon Dennis shot by Harry Mears to take the lead at the start of the 15-lap Mod Lite feature. Aaron VanVorst followed into second and held the spot until Tim White dropped him to third on lap four. James Hill was on the move from seventh getting by both Jimmy Wills and Nick Sapp for fourth on lap six. One lap later he would get by VanVorst for third.
Dennis was flawless in the second half of the race as White held off Hill in second. Hill would get by White with one lap to go but Dennis was too far gone for him to keep his win streak alive. Dennis ended that streak at seven with his first win in several years in the division. Hill finished in second with White third. Fourth went to VanVorst and Sapp rounded out the top five. Heats were won by White and Dennis.
