TIM TRIMBLE GETS 1ST CAMP BARNES WIN IN AC DELCO SPORTSMAN
The AC Delco 602 Sportman heats were won by Tim Trimble in the Coulbourne racing No. 55 and fromer division champion, Greg Humlhanz driving the Westley Smith No. 98. The early laps of the 15-lap race were caution filled with Trimble maintaining the point while Humlhanz and Jordn Justice swapped the second spot.
From halfway on it was all green. Trimble opened a comfortable lead over Justice and Humlhanz while defending track champion, Scott Hitchens worked from 21st spot into the top five behind Brandon Watkins in the Trey Hicks No. 86 with four to go. Trimble would remain smooth and flawless taking his first career Camp Barnes win. Justice finished a solid second with Humlhanz third. Hitchens got by Watkins with one to go to finish in fourth. The feature was sponsored by Magee Farms.
