STEVEN BAKER EARNS 1ST WIN IN CRATE MODELS
Mike Wilson took command from his pole starting spot in the 15-lap Crate Model feature. Steven Baker gave chase from the drop of the green with Charles Shawver running a close third. Baker took the top spot for lap five and one lap later, Shawver worked by Wilson for second.
By halfway Tyler Reed had worked his way from eighth to third with Robbie Walls, Jr. and Zac Weller holding down the top five. The order would not change but with one lap to go Mike Wharton came to a stop bringing out the only caution of the race. Baker would make no mistakes as he drove to his first win in the division holding off Shawver and Reed on the final lap. Weller crossed the line in fourth and Walls, Jr. rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Shawver and Wilson.
