DODSON BY INCHES OVER JUSTICE IN AC DELCO THRILLER
A season high field of 22 AC Delco 602 Sportsman took the green for their 15-lap feature with Devin Dodson threading his way from fifth to take the lead from David Jenkins on lap one. Jordn Justice followed Dodson through and into second by the second lap and Dwayne Crockett got by Jenkins for third.
Several multi-car tangles would keep the field tightly packed. With five to go Justice began to turn up the heat on Dodson pulling even on a couple of occasions.
The final yellow would fly with just three laps to go. Dodson controlled the restart but overdrove the third turn slightly opening the bottom to Justice. It was a drag race to the finish with Dodson posting his second win of the year by just a bumper over Justice. Kevin Sockriter came from eighth to finish in third with Crockett fourth and Westley Smith rounding out the top five. Heats were won by Justice and Dodson.
