WILLIAMS WINS VINTAGE, THOMAS TAKES SPORTSMAN
In the 12-lap Vintage Stock Car Feature C.J. Schirmer jumped out to the early lead with Mark Williams giving chase. The yellow was out on lap three when Chris Loveland came to a stop and Dwayne Heck, who was running in third, headed to the pits with a flat rear tire. Schirmer held the top spot for one more circuit before Williiams moved on top.
Once out front Williams would not be seriously challenged as Schirmer fought handling issues just to hold on to second. Vic Thomas came on strong to finish in third and post 1st Sportsman. Fourth went to Todd Miller and Dave Schamp rounded out the top five.
