ZAC WELLER GETS CRATE MODEL VICTORY
The 15-lap Crate Model feature was caution filled keeping the field tightly bunched the entire distance. 2015 Rookie of the Year, Charles Shawver led the first five laps before Zac Weller moved on top. By halfway Tyler Reed had climbed to second with Sparky White running in third.
A tangle with three laps to go tightened the field for a final time but Weller would make no mistakes and drove to the win. Reed finished in the second spot with White third. Fourth went to Robbie Walls, Jr. and Derek Magee rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Shawver and Weller.
