2015 ROOKIE OF THE YEAR - DEVIN DODSON WINS IN AC DELCO OPENER
A good field of 20 AC Delco PSC 602 Sportsman were on hand and winner the heats were Dwayne Crockett and DevIn Dodson. Crockett led the first two laps before Dodson moved on top. On that lap Crockett got around in the second turn to bring out the caution.
Westley Smith was now giving chase from second with Jordn Justice in third. The final yellow would fly with only six laps of the 15-lapper in the books. Dodson was fast and pulled away from the field to start his 2016 season the way he ended 2015 and that was with a win. Smith made no mistakes to finish in second and Kevin Sockriter charged through the field to finish in third. Fourth went to Justice and Matt Smith failed tech moving rookie Adam White to fifth on his first night out.
