MEL JOSEPH, JR. WIRE TO WIRE FOR LITTLE LINCOLN FALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Mel Joseph, Jr. started on the outside of the front row in the 12-lap Little Lincoln Vintage Championship and took command from the drop of the green. The yellow was out on lap four as Mike Pachett came to a stop. On the restart John Stevenson edged by Kirk Lawson for the second spot. The top three would run nose to tail with Stevenson able to bump Joseph in the turns but he could not get him loose. Joseph drove to the win collecting $170 in lap leader bonuses and $50 for supporting breast cancer awareness from Carolyn Parsons. Stevenson finished second and Lawson third. Fourth went to Kerry King, Jr. and Landy Adams rounded out the top five.
