MATT HILL STILL FLYING HIGH - TAKES 8TH CRATE MODEL WIN
Robbie Walls, Jr. headed the field at the start of the 15-lap Crate Model main. Mike Wilson worked by T.J. Williams for second. A scary moment occurred on lap three when rookie, Kacey Klink had her car go up in flames coming off the second turn. The safety crews extinguished the fire quickly and Klink was shaken but not injured.
Walls, Jr. held the top spot until just before halfway when Matt Hill moved on top. Once out front he was able to drive to his eighth win of the season. Walls, Jr. ended a solid run in second with Sparky White third. Fourth went to Charles Shawver and Zac Weller came on strong in the closing laps to finish in fifth. Heats were won by Walls, Jr. and Shawver.
