JAMES HILL BORROWS CAR AND WINS IN MOD LITES
Ryan Dryden led the first lap of the 15-lap Mod Lite feature but had the car get out from under him in the third turn. Nick Nash made contact and ended up on his roof and Alan Passwaters also made contact ending his night with front suspension damage. James Hill, driving Nash’s backup car was now the leader after starting in the ninth spot.
Jimmy Wills ran in the second spot until a broken wheel ended his night with two to go. Hill controlled the final restart with Nick Sapp getting by Tim White for second while Ty Short climbed to fourth. On the final turn Sapp and White tangled as the caution and checkered fell on Hill. It was his seventh win of the season. Short, who started in 10th ended up second with Jake Nelson nipping Jason Musser at the line for third. Curt Miles, Jr. rounded out the top five. Heats were won by White and Wills.
