WESTLEY SMITH BECOMES FIRST REPEAT WINNER IN AC DELCO MODIFIEDS
Westley Smith and Carson Wright captured the heats in the AC Delco PSC Modifieds and started one-two in the main. Smith quickly settled into the bottom groove ahead of Wright with Dwayne Crockett working by Kenneth Peek for third. Crockett was able to momentarily get by Wright but the youngster fought his way back into the spot one lap later. Smith had no problems opening a lead but with just one to go the yellow was out for a tangle. Smith was up for the shootout challenge and became the first driver to repeat in the division this season. Wright ended a great drive in second with Crockett third. Fourth went to Scott Hitchens who started in eighth and Brandon Watkins rounded out the top five.
