JAMES HILL NOTCHES FIFTH MOD LITE MAIN OF SEASON
Virginia’s James Wood led the first three laps of the 15-lap Mod Lite feature before James Hill moved on top. Just as Hill took the lead the caution was out as Kirk Miles, Sr. got upside down in the third turn. He was not injured and eventually was able to return.
Tim White climbed to the second spot bringing Aaron VanVorst in third. Mike Stratton dropped VanVorst to fourth just before halfway. With the race staying green, Hill would never be seriously challenged as he drove to his fifth win of the season. White finished in second spot just 1.17 seconds back and Stratton crossed in third. Fourth went to VanVorst and Ryan Dryden rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Stratton and White.
