KENNETH PEEK GETS 1ST CAREER WIN IN AC DELCO FALL CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER

The AC Delco PSC Modifieds went 20-laps with the winner getting a guaranteed starting spot in the Fall Championship. Kenneth Peek would start on the pole and drive the race of his career. The race got off to a scary start as Brandon Watkins got turned into the front straight wall bringing out the yellow. Watkins was okay but done for the night.

Peek took control from his pole starting position with Carson Wright running in second. Joe Tracy was on the move and up to second from ninth in just four laps but a lap four  restart would shuffle him back to fifth and Scott Hitchens would move into the runner-up spot.

While Peek remained flawless, Tracy climbed back by Westley Smith for third with Dwayne Crockett following into fourth. The final yellow was out when Brian Nailor got turned with just two laps to go. Peek would make no mistakes as he drove to his first career win with Hitchens second and Tracy third. Fourth went to Crockett and Westley Smith rounded out the top five.  Heats were won by Peek and Jordn Justice.
