TYLER REED SCORES FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON IN CRATES
In the 15-lap Crate Model feature Billy Thompson set the pace at the start with Mike Wilson running in second. Tyler Reed was on the move from sixth dropping Steven Baker to fourth on lap three. By lap six Reed was up to second and at the halfway sign the top five were Thompson, Reed, Wilson, Baker and Sparky White.
Reed made a smooth pass down the back straight to take the lead on the next circuit. The race would go caution free and Reed would drive to his first win of the season. Reed gave his crew a lot of credit for preparing the car because he had been ill all day and could not have gotten it ready for Saturday night. Thompson finished a personal best in second with Wilson third. Fourth went to Baker and White rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Thompson and Charles Shawver.
