WILLIAM J. & JUANITA CATHELL MEMORIAL RESCHEDULED FOR JUNE 20TH
Delmar, DE - The rains came just as the cars were about to take the track for hot laps on Saturday night forcing the postponement of the William J. & Juanita Memorial Night at the speedway. Before they left, fans were treated to the monster truck crush off sponsored by The Metal Shop. The Saigon Shaker and Jethro Tow blasted some jumps over and crushing several vehicles in the infield to the delight of the fans.
The William J. & Juanita Cathell Memorial has been rescheduled for June 20th and will feature the five weekly divisions plus the Vintage Cars and Super Trucks. The TUSA Mod Lite National scheduled for that night had already been cancelled.
The Saturday night will feature the five weekly divisions plus the Little Lincoln cars. The NAPA Big Block Modified feature winner will take on the winner from the S.R. Pete & Son Late Model feature in a five lap Shoot Out. Gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7 p.m. Rain checks from Saturday night will be honored for the next four weeks.
