JORDAN WATSON FINDS VICTORY LANE FOR FIRST TIME IN 2014!

 

 

By Chad Cathell: The second of the Twin 20’s would get off to a quick start then quickly slowed by cautions. Jamie Mills taking over the lead on lap number 4 would look to prove to be the end of the lead changes barring a mechanical failure of some sort from the 30 machine

Mills would check out to the front with HJ Bunting coming from his 13^th starting position to second by lap number 5. Shawn Weber would bring out the caution on lap 7 to bring the field back together. Bunting would begin to real in Mills by lap 9, but after being side-by-side at the start/finish line, something in the driveline broke on Bunting’s racecar going into turns 1 & 2 on lap number 10. Jordan Watson would then move into the 2^nd starting position behind his “Uncle Jamie�. However, “Uncle Jamie� would show he had the car to beat for the next several laps. Coming into turn number 2 Watson would pull beside Mills, and going into turn 3 Watson would take the lead position away. Watson would be flawless the next 3 laps as Mills spun trying to go for the lead on the last lap, last corner. The race would end under a Checkered & Caution finish with Watson picking up his first NAPA Big Block Modified victory of the season.
