World Of Outlaw Late Models Cancelled for 05-29-2014

 

By Chad Cathell - Thursday Night racing action at the Delaware International Speedway has been cancelled due to inclement weather. Following a series of rain showers throughout the night and lingering showers into the morning and early afternoon, World of Outlaws Late Model Series Race Director Tim Christman and Delaware International Speedway President Charlie Cathell have elected to cancel tonight's event, forego the scheduled rain date, and reschedule the event in its entirety. After careful consideration into the start of the Appalachian Mountain Dirt Late Model Speedweeks and the start time of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race in Dover, DE;  Christman and Cathell have elected to forego the scheduled rain date and reschedule for Thursday, August 14, 2014. The race schedule for August 14 will follow the same format as planned for this evening with Gates opening at 4 pm and cars hitting the track at 7 pm.

 

We apologize for any inconvenience, and look forward to seeing everybody back here for the race on August 14th. If you're in town for the race and wish to see some racing at the Delaware International Speedway come see us this Saturday night as we will open the gates at 5 pm with cars hitting the track at 7 pm for our “Military Appreciation Night�  with NAPA Big Block Modifieds, Super Late Models, AC Delco PSC Crate Modifieds, Crate Late Models, Modified-Lites + the Red Neck Slide For 5 & Super Tucks
