MIKE WHARTON GETS FIRST OF SEASON IN CRATE MODELS
In the 15-lap Crate Model feature it was Alessa Young controlling the first two circuits before Sparky White moved on top. Tyler Reed took second on lap five with Mike Wharton following into third. Wharton dropped Reed to third and went to work on White for the lead.
With five laps to go, Wharton took the lead and drove the final distance to the checkered. Reed got by White for second on the final lap with Eric Vent finishing fourth and Dylan Evans rounding out the top five. Heats were won by Reed and Wharton.
