JAMES HILL SCORES FIRST WIN OF SEASON IN MOD LITES

James Hill rocketed from his fifth starting spot to grab the lead on lap one of the 15 lap Mod Lite feature.  Defending Champion Mike Stratton drove into second while Brandon Sturgis held on to third. By halfway Jimmy Wills had climbed to third bringing Nick Nash with him into fourth.

 

The one and only caution of the race came on lap nine when Curt Miles, Jr. came to a stop. Hill took off on the green and led the final five circuits for his first win of the season. Stratton finished in second with Wills third. Fourth went to Nash and Sturgis ended a good run in fifth. Heats were won by Wills and Hill.
