WATSON WINS 8TH IN AC DELCO MODS
Brandon Watkins and Jeff Coffey won the AC Delco PSC Modified heats but the 10 car inversion draw found Cameron Bellinger on the pole with John Curtis starting in second. Bellinger led the first lap before Curtis moved on top for lap two. Jordan Watson had just moved on top but the yellow came out for Danny Smack putting Watson back in third.
Curtis controlled the restart but it was Watson moving back by Bellinger and Curtis to take the lead on lap four. Bellinger would slow with a flat with five to go bringing out the final yellow. Watson was working the top groove to perfection and pulled away on the restart and drive to his eighth checkered of the season. Curtis finished in the second spot with Trent Willey coming on strong in the closing stages to finish in third. Fourth went to Westley Smith and Richie Wilson rounded out the top five.
