JAMES HILL GETS 1ST WIN OF SEASON IN MOD LITES
The Mod Lite 15-lap feature was heads up from the heats with first heat winner, James Hill on the pole and second heat winner and seven time feature winner, Mike Stratton in second. Ray Gulliver jumped in behind Hill in the early laps before Curt Miles, Jr. took over second just before halfway.
Cautions through the middle of the race kept the field tightly packed. The final five laps were all green and Hill was able to pull away to pick up his first win of the season. Tim White made a late race charge taking second on the final lap. Third went to Miles, Jr. with Stratton and Gulliver rounding out the top five.
