URC TO HOLD "FAN FEST" PRIOR TO RACING SATURDAY NIGHT
With rain, rain and more rain this past weekend the focus shifts to what hopes to be dryer times. The United Racing Company, making their first of two stops in the 2013 season, will provide an extra perk for the fans on Saturday night, July 20th with Fan Fest in the front lot of the speedway along Rt. 13 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. The URC tent will have plenty of giveaways for the kids plus hot dogs, autographs and more.
Several cars will be on display including Delaware’s own Kevin Darling of Dover fresh off his victory at New Egypt Speedway, Andy Best of Dover, Steve Downs of Georgetown and multi-time URC champion, Curt Michael of Ocean View plus other URC competitors. This event is free to the public.
Gates open at the speedway at 4:30 p.m. with hot laps at 7 p.m. General admission is $20 with pit admission at $25. Children 13 and under admitted free on the spectator side with a paying adult.
