JOE WARREN GETS SECOND WIN IN CRATE MODELS
Robbie Emory set the pace at the start of the 15-lap Crate Model feature. Mike Wharton challenged from second before Joe Warren took over the spot on lap three. Matt Hill dropped Wharton to fourth and Sparky White held down fifth.
Warren took the lead coming off of turn two to lead at the halfway sign. Wharton was able to regain third from Hill but White was on the move climbing to the third spot with three to go. White’s charge would end with a broken front suspension that forced him to slow with one to go. Warren picked up his second win of the season with Emory putting on a great drive to finish in second. Wharton held on to the third spot at the checkered with Hill fourth and Tyler Reed closing strong to finish in fifth. Heats were won by Hill and Warren.
