WILLS BACK IN VICTORY LANE IN MOD LITES

Curt Miles, Jr. set the pace for the first lap of the Mod Lite 15-lap feature before Jimmy Wills shot on top. The defending champion had his work cut out for him as three time winner this season, Mike Stratton, cleared Miles, Jr. on lap three and began closing on the leader. James Hill took third from Miles, Jr. and Nick Sapp followed into fourth.

 

With five to go Stratton was on the back bumper of Wills but the top two were running all out. Wills managed to thwart the attack in the closing laps to post his first win of 2013. Stratton finished in the second spot with Hill third. Fourth went to Sapp and Jason Musser rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Stratton and Ryan Dryden (first heat win).
