MEL JOSEPH, JR. LEADS FLAG TO FLAG IN LITTLE LINCOLN VINTAGE CARS

MelBy Charlie Brown, Delmar, DE – After two lack luster starts this season, Mel Joseph, Jr. obviously had things back on track as he led flag to flag in the non-stop 15-lap Little Lincoln Vintage feature as part of the Fulton Bank 50 World of Outlaws Late Model program.

Joseph was fast right from the drop of the green as Jamie Wager took up the task of trying to catch him from second. Bunky White was putting on a good drive from the third position as Donald Robinson, Jr. shot from seventh to fourth and Ryan Walsen battled Bill Brittingham for fifth.

As Joseph held a comfortable lead, Brittingham works his way into the top five and took fourth with four to go. Brittingham climbed to third behind Joseph and Wagner with three to go as John Stevenson worked his way out of a pack of cars to take fifth.

Joseph would make no mistakes and captured the win with Wagner second and Brittingham third. Fourth went to Robinson, Jr. and Stevenson rounded out the top five. “We took the car totally apart after the last race, said Joseph. “I guess we fixed whatever was wrong.
