TYLER REED TAKES CRATE MODEL THRILLER

Dylan Evans started on the pole in the 15-lap Crate Model feature after winning his heat and a “zero� inversion draw. Second heat winner, Mike Wharton started in second but Tyler Reed took the spot on the first circuit. Wharton got back by on lap  three.

 

Evans continued to lead as Reed regained second. Joe Warren followed into the third spot. At the halfway sign the top five were Evans, Reed, Warren, Wharton and Sparky White. Reed kept the pressure on Evans as the pair started to work lapped traffic. White got by Warren for fourth with three to go.

 

With two laps to go, Evans got pinned behind a lapped car and Reed scrapped by for the lead. Reed in his Reed Trucking/Rocket took the win with Evan holding on to finish in second. Third went to Wharton with White fourth and Warren fifth.
