JIM PRIDE, JR TAKES VINTAGE WIN - ATKINS 1ST SPORTSMAN

In the 12-lap Vintage Stock Car feature, it was Rob Schirmer jumping out front with Jim Pride, Jr. challenging from second. Pride was about to make the pass for the lead when the yellow came out for Todd Miller. Under the yellow, Schirmer’s car rolled to a stop and was pushed to the pits.

Pride was the new leader and held the point until lap seven when he went high in the second turn and Chuck Tucker moved on top. Pride recovered and was back on top with three to go. Pride was able to hold off Tucker to take his second win with Tucker second and Scott Calhoun third. Sportsman driver Barry Adkins made a late race charge to finish fourth overall and first Sportsman and C.J. Schirmer rounded out the top five.
