JIMMY WILLS WINS SECOND STRAIGHT IN MOD LITES

The 15-lap Mod Lite feature saw Chad Passwaters take command at the start. Josh Clark held the second spot until lap three when Brandon Sturgis dropped him to third. Jimmy Wills had set fast time in qualifying and with a 10 car inversion draw started in tenth. Wills demonstrated just how quick he was on lap three as he shot from fifth to second. One lap later he moved on top with Passwaters holding second.

Brandon Dennis was next to make a charge moving from fourth to second on lap six. At the halfway sign the top five were Wills, Dennis, Chad Passwaters, James Hill and Sturgis. Hill’s night would come to an end with a flat tire that brought out the yellow with five to go.

Dennis would chase Wills the rest of the way to the checkered as Wills picked up his second consecutive win. Chad Passwaters turned in one of his best performances finishing in the third spot with Ray Gulliver and Landis Musser coming on strong in the closing laps to round out the top five.
