MATT HILL GETS 1ST WIN OF SEASON IN CAMP BARNES CRATES

In the 15-lap Crate Model feature, Matt Hill ended a season of dismal luck and led the entire distance. Mike Wharton held the second spot until the halfway point when Joe Warren edged ahead of him. The final yellow was out with two laps to go closing the field for one more time.

Hill had no problems on the final two circuits as he drove to the win. The battle was for second as Wharton was able to get back by Warren for the spot. Fourth went to John Imler and Kelly Putz rounded out the top five. Fast time in qualifying was set by Warren.
