COLBY STEELE GETS 1ST VINTAGE WIN
Colby Steele came out on top of a hard fought battle with Jim Pride, Jr. to earn his first win in the Vintage Stock Cars.
Freddy Brightbill held off Jim Pride, Jr. for the first three laps before Pride, Jr. took the point on lap 121. At the halfway sign Colby Steele had climbed to the second spot with Brightbill in third. Fourth was held by Chuck Tucker and C.J. Schirmer held down fifth.
Steele closed in on Pride, Jr. with two laps to go then took the lead with one to go. Steele went on to record his first career win with the Vintage Stock Cars with Pride, Jr. second. Third went to Brightbill with Tucker fourth and Dwayne Heck fifth. First sportsman went to Kelly Putz in eighth.
