Joe Warren Records Third Win in Crate Model Main

Mike Wharton led the first lap of the 15-lap Crate Model feature. Dylan Evans made a move for the lead going into the first turn. The back of his car made contact with Wharton sending Wharton off the top of the turn in bringing out the first of five yellows in the first seven laps.

 

Evan held the lead as Joe Warren worked by Clint Chalabala for the second spot at the halfway sign. Warren moved to the high groove with two to go and took the lead on the white flag lap. Warren would hold on for his third win of the season in the Creative Wealth Management/Lazer. Evans finished a well earned second with Chalabala holding on to third. Fourth went to Nick Davis and John Imler rounded out the top five. Fast time in qualifying was set by Wharton. Nick Sapp won the consolation.
