BRANDON DENNIS SCORES 5TH WIN IN MOD LITES

Brandon Dennis had nothing but praise for his new Pro Chassis car and his Crutchfield engine after his fifth victory of the season Saturday night. Dennis started tenth in the 16 car field an headed to the front at the drop of the green in the 15-lap event.

 

Jason Musser shot from fifth to front on lap one. Ray Gulliver and Kerry King, Jr. battled for second but Gulliver got around and was tagged hard by Josh Clark to bring out the yellow on lap two. Dennis was already up into the top five and on the restart moved to third behind King, Jr.

 

On lap four Dennis powered by King, Jr. and Jason Musser to take the lead. Once out front he pulled away from the field but the yellow would fly a final time with three to go erasing his advantage and putting James Hill on his back bumper.

 

On the green Dennis was able to pull away from Hill and drive to the victory. Hill finished in the second spot with King third. Fourth went to Jason Musser and Landis Musser rounded out the top five. Fast time in qualifying was set by Dennis.
