DAVENPORT RETURNS TO DACOTAH SPEEDWAY VICTORY LANE
Six Hobby Stocks took to the track to do battle in the Hobby Stock feature. A.J. Davenport started on the pole as Nathan Mundahl and Braydee Hanson raced hard for second. John Gartner Jr lurked in fourth and as the laps wound down, Gartner was all over Hanson’s rear bumper. While racing hard, Gartner got off the track on the backstretch allowing Kasey Powers to slip by for fourth. A caution late in the race grouped the field on the restart, Hanson passed Mundhal for second. Hanson challenged Davenport for the lead while trying to get around the former track champion, Mundahl retook the second position with two laps to go. A.J. Davenport held on to win the race over Nathan Mundahl. Braydee Hanson had to settle for third place while Kasey Powers finished fourth ahead of John Gartner Jr.
