(Warrensburg, Missouri) The NASCAR Weekly Racing Series marches on this Saturday for Midwest Coatings, Inc. night at the races. A-Mods, POWRi Super Stocks, B-Mods, and Pure Stocks will take part in the night’s events featuring heat races and main events in all classes.
Heading into Saturday, a quick look at the standings shows Gunner Martin with a two-point lead on Dennis Elliott in A-Mods. Cody Frazon holds a 54-point lead on Aaron Poe in POWRi Super Stocks while Terry Schultz and Jacob Ebert are locked in a tight battle with only 12 points separating them. In Pure Stocks, defending champion Spencer Reiff has a 49-point advantage on Brian Cox.
Midwest Coatings, Inc. is a family-owned business located in St. Louis, Missouri, that has been in business for over 20 years, many of those years as a primary business partner of CMS, Earl Walls, and Aspen Products. They are a water-based inks manufacturer and supplier that specializes in All WWA Pinnacle System Water-Based Inks and Paper Plate Coatings.
For this weekend, regular event pricing is in effect with NASCAR-licensed pit passes at $30 each, non-licensed $35, regardless of age. General Admission is $15 for Adults, Active-Duty Military and Senior Citizens aged 65 to 72 $12, Kids 6 to 12 years old $6, five and under are free, 75 and older and individuals permanently confined to a wheelchair are free in the grandstands. Pit gates open at 4:30, followed by grandstand admissions at 5, driver pill draw cutoff at 6:15 (no passing points if driver is a late check-in), pit meeting held at 6:30, hot laps at 7, and racing begins at 7:30 or at the conclusion of hot laps.
The 21st Annual Tom Wilson Memorial takes center stage at CMS over two nights of racing through the Independence Day weekend. This year’s payout for A-Mods features the return of the $5,000-to-win, 50-lap A-main, which pays at least a $1,000-to-start all the way down to 24th position. In addition to A-Mods, POWRi Super Stocks, B-Mods, and Pure Stocks will also compete both nights. The weekend features a live band and post-race party on Saturday in the Pub 13 building and fireworks on Sunday.
