(Warrensburg, Missouri) The NASCAR weekly race series rolls on this Saturday for Cliff Harris Warrensburg Ford Race Night at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS). This weekend’s action includes A-Mods, POWRi Super Stocks, B-Mods, and Pure Stocks, plus guest class POWRi Lightning Sprints.

This weekend’s action features extra purse money arranged through sponsorship by local businessman Marc Carter for the POWRi Super Stock division. The revised payout for this weekend’s main event is as follows: 1) $750, 2) $400, 3) $300, 4) $250, 5) $225, 6) $200, 7) $175, 8) $150, 9) $125, 10) $100, 11) $95, 12) $90, 13) $85, 14) $80, 15) $75, 16) $75, 17) $75, 18 to 24) $60. This is an entire purse increase from 1st to 24th position. B-Main (non-qualifier) $40. For this weekend, normal event pricing is in effect with NASCAR-licensed pit passes at $30 each, non-licensed $35, regardless of age. General Admission is $15 for Adults, Active-Duty Military and Senior Citizens aged 65 to 72 $12, Kids 6 to 12 years old $6, five and under are free, 75 and older and individuals permanently confined to a wheelchair are free in the grandstands. Pit gates open at 4:30, followed by grandstand admissions at 5, driver pill draw cutoff at 6:15 (no passing points if driver is a late check-in), pit meeting held at 6:30, hot laps at 7, and racing begins at 7:30 or at the conclusion of hot laps.
In less than a month, the 21st Annual Tom Wilson Memorial will take center stage at CMS over two nights of racing through the Independence Day weekend. This year’s payout for A-Mods features the return of the $5,000-to-win, 50-lap A-main, which pays at least a $1,000-to-start all the way down to 24th position. In addition to A-Mods competing throughout the weekend in their special events, POWRi Super Stocks, B-Mods, and Pure Stocks will also compete on both nights. The weekend will feature a live band and post-race party on Saturday night in the Brew Pub 13 building and a full fireworks extravaganza on Sunday night after the race.
