(Warrensburg, Missouri) The annual Memorial Day Weekend of events at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) began Saturday evening with 136 race teams on hand in five divisions. The weekend activities feature the POWRi Lightning Sprint Nationals along with a special event for A-Mods. Pure Stocks, B-Mods, and POWRi Super Stocks were also in action throughout the night.
There were 25 events held for the 26 Pure Stocks, 44 Lightning Sprints, 15 A-Mods, 31 B-Mods, and 20 Super Stocks on hand. By the end of the night, Gunner Martin of Sugar Creek, Missouri, found himself on the pole for Sunday night’s $3,000-to-win A-Mod main event by claiming the night one A-Mod Scramble. In addition, Jac Nickles (Lightning Sprints), Cody Frazon (Super Stocks), Cole Campbell (B-Mods), and Spencer Reiff (Pure Stocks), also collected main event trophies and payouts.

Up next, night two of the Memorial Day weekend on Sunday with special-event pricing is as follows: NASCAR-licensed pit passes are $35 each, non-licensed are $40, regardless of age. General Admission is $20 for Adults, Active-Duty Military and Senior Citizens aged 65 to 72 $15, Kids 6 to 12 years old $6, five and under free, 75 and older and individuals permanently confined to a wheelchair are free in the grandstands.
A-Mods return for their $3,000-to-win finale while the Lightning Sprint Nationals conclude with their $1,500-to-win main event. POWRi Super Stocks and B-Mods also return for a second-straight night of action. Pit gates open at 4, followed by grandstand admission at 5, driver pill draw cutoff at 6:15 (no passing points if driver is a late check-in), pit meeting at 6:30, hot laps at 7, and racing at 7:30.
