Weaver Embarks on WoO Late Model Boyd's Doubleheader
Cameron Weaver embarked on a World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series doubleheader on Friday night at Boyd's Speedway (Ringgold, Ga.).
Forty-one competitors registered for the $10,000-to-win program, and Weaver began his outing with a 14th-place performance in qualifying.
After starting-and-finishing seventh fastest in his heat race, Weaver rallied from sixth-to-third in B-Main to lock into the 22nd-starting spot in the feature.
After not making up much ground during the first half of the feature, Cameron ultimately retired on the 30th circuit to a 22nd-place finish.
The weekend drew to a close on Saturday night with a $20,000-to-win program. Cameron started the night by qualifying 13th-fastest in his time trial group. A sixth-place finish in his heat race sent him to the B-Main for the second-straight night. Unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to reach a transfer spot to the feature as his night ended with a fifth-place finish in his B-Main.
