Iron-Man Modified Series
Nick Hoffman Nabs Night One of Pretty-n-Pink Weekend for Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series at Boyd’s Speedway
RINGGOLD, GEORGIA (October 8, 2021)– The Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series would kick off the Pretty-n-Pink weekend at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, GA and Nick Hoffman of Mooresville, NC would fend off the challenges of Cole Falloway in lapped traffic at one point in the event and drive on to score the $1,200 victory.
For the 29 year-old Hoffman, it would be his second win of the season with the tour and his second career Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series victory and would come aboard an Elite Chassis using a NASCAR Technical Institute Race Engine and sporting sponsorship from Elite Chassis, NASCAR Technical Institute, Wehr’s Machine and Racing Products, Jerovitz Shocks, FOX Shocks, Willy’s Carbs, and All Star Performance.
Hoffman would take the lead at the start of the twenty-lap event only to see Taylor Cook draw the first of three cautions in the event for a spin in turn one on lap one. Hoffman and Cole Falloway would run first and second and work in and out of slower traffic until the next caution appeared on lap thirteen for fluid on the racing surface in turn two. Hoffman would again maintain the lead after the restart until the final caution appeared on lap seventeen for a slowed Reece Ogle in turn two. Hoffman would maintain the top spot the remainder of the way to claim the victory, with Falloway taking second. Ricky Arms would start eighth and come home third, while Michael Asberry and Blake Brown would complete the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers would be Peyton Harlow, Chris Wilson, Brandon Kinzer, Charlie Mefford, and Ken Schrader.
The next event for the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Series will be at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, GA on Saturday October 9 for the second and final night of the Pretty-n-Pink Weekend, paying $3,000 to win.
