Clayton Miller would take the lead at the start of the 25 lap Valvoline A-Main contest and would hold the lead after the opening lap over Chris Wilson, Blake Brown, Michael Asberry, and Billy Jones. Ken Schrader would make his way past Jones for fifth on lap two, while Miller and Wilson would put some distance back to third-place running Brown. Ricky Tinch would challenge Schrader for the fifth position and take it on lap eight, while Brown would close on Wilson, with Wilson challenging Miller for the lead and as the trio were about the catch the rear of the field, the caution waved for a spin in turn two by Cameron Wilson. The restart would see Wilson set to the outside of Miller and immediately resume his challenge for the lead and Wilson would claim the top spot on lap twelve. Meanwhile, 15th place starter Peyton Harlow was working his way toward the front and would take the fifth position on lap thirteen and would work past Asberry for fourth one circuit later. Wilson would pull away from Miller at this point and Brown would pester Miller for the runner-up slot and would grab the second position on lap nineteen. Caution would again slow the action on lap twenty for a spin in turn three by Billy Jones and when action resumed, Wilson would get a good restart and pull away momentarily from Brown, but Brown would quickly run Wilson back down and would challenge for the lead as the pair were side-by-side at the flagstand on lap twenty-three, only to see the final caution of the event wave when Larry James looped his machine in turn two. The final restart would see Wilson keep Brown at bay over the final few laps and score the victory. Brown would settle for second, with Harlow getting around Miller in the closing laps to finish third. Miller and Tinch would complete the top five. The remainder of the top ten finishers would be Asberry, Schrader, Brandon Kinzer, A.J. Garber, and Wayne James.
