2020 Race Season Canceled
Racers, Fans, Sponsors & Employees
Well, the time has come to unfortunately make the hard decision to cancel the 2020 Auto City Outdoor Event Center Race schedule.
We were hoping these last few months, that restrictions would be lifted and we would be able to race as long as we were in phase 5. However, the closer we get to the end of our season, we find it hard to open and be able to make a financial positive impact. Some professional sporting organizations may be holding events without fans. And many racetrack are racing with fans. We, however, have no desire to hold events without our fan base in the stands.
We appreciate all of our racers, fans, sponsors, and employees, that you all, held out hope with us, that we could move forward with this season and race. But we can no longer hold up all of you, and the rest of your summer plans, in anticipating racing to start. If we find an opportunity to get in a race show, we will try hard to do so, we are thankful for the patience and understanding
Many of you have different options on this matter, but I think we can all agree, canceling for us is so stressful and disappointing and unbelievable
Please continue to be stay safe by wearing your face mask, social distance and wash hands. We need our children in school this fall.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2021, a much better, exciting and happier year. Plans are being made now.
Please everyone, be kind to one another during this crisis, and pray that it is over soon.
