History was made August 2, 2025 at the Arlington Raceway when Cory Probst won his 300th IMCA Feature event during the Sibley County Fair. Early leader Dan Scharpe took the lead and then a yellow came out on the 2nd lap for Patrick Oestreich. At the same time, Chad Volk got into a tire and went to the work area. He rejoined the field but the 11 was sent to the back. On the restart, Scott Porter was dominating the high sided of the track with Probst coming on strong. On lap 7 another yellow was thrown when Volk again had troubles. On the restart, Probst took the high side and passed Porter to take over the lead. With only one lap to go, Brad Becker tried twice to get under Probst on the backstretch but in the end he had to settle for 2nd ahead of Scott Porter.
Dale Gatton led the entire Coors Light Sport Compact feature. A yellow was thrown at the start of the race when there was debris on the track in turn #4. On the restart, another yellow came out when a hood popped up on the car of Jared Sloss. Then the following lap Gary Schumacher had a right rear tire go down and pulled into the work area. The 29x of Jason Bolte pulled off on the backstretch with troubles as well as Justin Schelitzhe. Through it all, Gatton remained the leader as Justin Dose and Alan Lahr battled each other for 2nd place. Dose got too high and Lahr drove the inside of him to take 2nd place with Brandon Hartmann taking 3rd when he too dove under Dose.
The Olson Snowplowing & Lawn Care feature had 4 caution flags as well. Scott Porter driving double duty was the early leader of the race. Kris Flewelling took the high side passing Karl Hewitt but the following lap his rearend was too hot and he spun out sending him to the tail. Porter again took the lead but Hewitt races down the middle of the track and slides past to take the lead. Another yellow came out for the spinning car of Zach Wisch, on that restart, Garett Uecker takes off like a bolt and goes from 3rd to 1st. It only lasted 3 laps as Hewitt was able to get by him coming out of turn #4. On lap 12 a yellow came out when the 7k of Jerod Salisbury got too high and hit the wall. At the same time Uecker spun in turn #4 but he got the lucky dog as the yellow was called for the 7k car. Three laps left in the race and Hewitt wins with Uecker taking 2nd ahead of Mark Oestreich who had started 8th.
First lap leader Chris Neisen was only able to hold on for the lead the first lap of the Arlington State Bank IMCA No. Sport Modified feature. Joey Reimers took off at the start of the race, by the time he got to turn #2, he drove it in too high and fell off the track. That opened the door for the 1z of Zach Davis to take the inside groove and gain the lead. On the 5th lap a caution was thrown when the 32e spun in the middle of turns 3 & 4. On the restart, Davis maintained his lead, lap by lap Ben Reierson was knocking on his door as they were side by side many times. Behind them Jeff Carter came to call as he had moved up 9 spots to join the front of the pack. He was held back by Eric Larson the last 5 laps of the race. Davis finishes first, Reierson 2nd and Larson 3rd.
The Rice Companies IMCA Sprint feature saw Matt Johnson lead the entire race to win his first race of the year. The 45th car was next to him but 4 laps later he had hit a tire causing damage to his front axle and putting him out of the race. On the restart, Johnson again took off with Hannah Graf motoring through the corners taking the high side to try to close the gap. Coming in for the white flag Brett Allen was in 3rd and Bill Johnson was in 4th, coming out of turn #4 Allen bobbled and Johnson got by him on the inside to gain a spot but it was son Matt that won the race. Hannah Graf held on for 2nd and Bill took 3rd.
Twenty cars started the B&B Racing Chassis IMCA Stock Car feature and it was fast and furious. There were three different leaders with the first one being Shaun Bruns from his front row start. Four laps into the race, a yellow came out for the 18 as he got sideways in turn #2. On the restart, Bruns drove the high side of the track and the 30 of Dave Moriarty muscled his way on the bottom of the track taking over the top spot but he knew the full field was behind him. Lap by lap Moriarty held on, 11 laps in Jed Trebelhorn was trying to find bite on the high side of the track while the rest were on the bottom side, he was able to get around Bruns to take over 2nd place. Soon Dan Mackenthun was challenging and trying to move under Moriarty on the backstretch but that didn’t work as he encountered a right flat tire bringing out a caution. Once again Moriarty held onto the bottom side of the track on the restart but he had the company of Matt Looft behind him as Looft had moved up 13 spots throughout the race to challenge Moriarty. Coming out of turn #4, Moriarty moved up a tad too much and Looft nosed underneath him to take the win. Moriarty took 2nd and Dan Eckblad held on for 3rd ahead of Ryan Bjerkeset.
There were also three different leaders in the Ottomotive Tire & Repair IMCA Modified feature went caution free with JJ Reimers the first lap leader and the 2nd lap leader was Chad Porter. By the third time around, Clint Hatlestad, Porter and Dan Menk were all battling each other for the lead. With 5 laps to go, Hatlestad was in lapped traffic and pulled away from Menk guaranteeing him the win. Menk took 2nd and Trent Loverude took 3rd.
The Rustman family was happy when the drivers of Noah & Silas each won the Hess Technology Jr. Kart and Jr. Sportsman Kart feature. The Stock feature was won by 99 Travis Manderfield.
