LAKE CITY, FL Sun, fun & speed: 3.0.

For the third consecutive year, the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco heads to the Sunshine State in the month of February to kick off the 2022 season.

The STSS returns to the site of the original Sunshine Swing™ at All-Tech Raceway in Lake City, Fla., with the STSS Modifieds and STSS Crate 602 Sportsman both in competition under the Florida sunshine.

The STSS last visited All-Tech Raceway in 2020 with three racing programs in two days after the first night was moved back due to rain.

Sprakers, N.Y.™s Stewart Friesen won both events that night, and Ransomville, N.Y.™s Erick Rudolph picked up the $10,000-to-win finale in the inaugural Sunshine Swing.™

After a trip to Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Fla., last January due to scheduling conflicts, the STSS returns to a fan- and competitor-favorite at All-Tech Raceway in 2022.

The ™22 Sunshine Swing™ kicks off on Tuesday (Feb. 8), with an open practice for all competitors at the half-mile speedway leading into four nights of racing.

On Wednesday (Feb. 9), racing for the week begins with a 30-lap, $4,000-to-win feature event for the STSS Modifieds. The STSS Crate 602 Sportsman race for 25 laps and $1,500-to-win on the opening night of the week.

The following (Feb. 10) night, the stakes are raised for the STSS Modifieds in a 35-lap, $5,000-to-win feature event. The STSS Crate 602 Sportsman run another 25 laps for another $1,500 payday to the winner.

Friday night (Feb. 11), the purse grows for both the STSS Modifieds and STSS Crate 602 Sportsman with just two races remaining in the week.

The Modifieds go 40-laps on Friday night with $6,000 allotted to the winner, while the STSS Crate 602 Sportsman race for 30 laps and a $2,000 winner™s share.

The Sunshine Swing™ concludes on Saturday (Feb. 12) as the stakes get raised to the most lucrative all week. The Modifieds race for 50 laps in search of the $8,000 winner™s share.

The STSS Crate 602 Sportsman run for 30 laps and $2,000 to win for the second consecutive night to round out the week of racing in the Sunshine State.

Several bonuses and contingency awards will be available throughout the week as wellS, making it the most lucrative week of racing for the Modifieds in the state of Florida in 2022.

The tire rule for both the STSS Modifieds and Crate 602 Sportsman is as follows: Right-Rear American Racer 53 ONLY; Left-Rear American Racer 44 ONLY; Right-Front American Racer 44 ONLY; Left-Front any American Racer tire.
