(Pulaski, PA)...The temperatures are heating up and so is the Hovis Auto and Truck Supply RUSH Racing Series presented by Born2Run Lubricants action. Philip Bubeck scored his career first victory in RUSH Late Model action at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, while Breyton Santee won his first of 2022; meanwhile, others like Bill Holmes, Jeremy Wonderling, Donnie Dotson, Jared Keeney and Brian Knowles added to their win totals. Veterans Dennis Lunger (Pro Mods) and Chad Ruhlman (Sprint Cars) also continued their winning ways in RUSH action.

Delaware International Speedway hosted a special Friday evening racing card that saw Joey Warren his second win of the season at the track in the 25-lap $1,000 to-win RUSH Late Model main event. Back on April 13 at the opener, Warren won his first career Flynn's Tire Touring Series event worth $3,000. Trevor Collins finished in second followed by Derek Magee, Matt Hill and Kerry King, Jr.

RUSH Late Model action at The Hill Speedway on Friday saw Jared Keeney win his second consecutive main event. Mike Epler was a season best second over Rich McNeal.

Keeney continued his winning weekend as he was also victorious at Skyline Raceway Saturday night. It was also Keeney's second straight Skyline win as he's now won his last four RUSH Late Model starts. Chris Fleming came home in second with followed by Alan Chapman, Todd Chapman and newcomer Kevin Fleming.

The RUSH Late Model action at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway has yet to see a repeat winner and that streak continued on Saturday night as Philip Bubeck scored his first career victory in the division after winning the "One to Remember" non-winners race last year on October 1 during the "Bill Hendren Memorial". Bubeck took the early lead, weathered a scare early in the event when his car appeared to lose power and a late race caution in route to the win. Bubeck, who started the season with four straight fourth place finishes, became the sixth different winner in as many races. National Sprint Car Hall of Famer Tim Shaffer came home in second as he continues to be close to his first career Late Model win. Michael Reft, Colby Beighey and Dave Goble completed the top five.

After missing the last two shows, Bill Holmes returned to Genesee Speedway and led every lap of the 25-lap RUSH Late Model main event Saturday night. It was Holmes' second win of the season at the Batavia, New York oval. A four-car battle for the second spot saw Dave DuBois fend off Jeremy Wonderling to come home in second while Jimmy Johnson edged our J.J. Mazur at the line for the fourth position.

Breyton Santee picked up his first win at Stateline Speedway Saturday evening . Santee took the lead from teammate Jonathan Stockdale on lap one, withstood pressure from veteran Randy Hall and weathered numerous cautions in the 20-lap main event. Matt Sipes, Jason Genco, and Khole Wanzer battled for the third position over the event. At the checkered it was 10th place starter David Parker who finished in third with Genco and Sipes completing the top five. A strong 24-car field was on hand for the two straight week.

Veteran Donnie Dotson tallied his second RUSH Late Model win of the season at Tyler County Speedway Saturday, but first since April 16. Dotson took command at the start and held off Kyle Thomas, Michael Duritsky, Jr., Brandon Weigle and AJ Spagnuolo for the win.

Brian Knowles visited victory lane for the fourth time this season in RUSH Late Model action at Woodhull Raceway. It was Brian's third straight win giving him and his brother Jason six straight wins at their home track! Steve LeBarron challenged Knowles for the top spot several times but settled for second. Clayton Tarabori had a great run coming home third for the fourth time in four starts this season. Jason Knowles and rookie competitor Aaron Miller rounded out the top five.

Bradford Speedway was in action Sunday. Jeremy Wonderling was victorious ending John Waters streak of winning the first two RUSH Late Model events. The win was worth $1,3000 for Wonderling! Steve Dixon was third in his first Late Model start of 2022. Ward Schell and Damian Bidwell, who made his season debut as well, rounded out the top five.

The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Sportsman Modified Series visited two venues this past weekend. They began their weekend on Friday evening at Raceway 7 for a Wedge Motorsports "Route 7 Rumble" Series event. Jacob Wolfe led the first two circuits of the 20-lap main event before second-generation racer Ben Easler took command. Easler was pulling away from the field as Kole Holden slowly worked his way through the field after starting in sixth. By lap 14 Holden began to reel in the leader and came within a car length of Easler in the final three laps but could not take the top spot from him. Easler scored his season's first win with Holden, Justin Shea, Wolfe and Doug Rutana following.

On Saturday evening the RUSH Sportsman competitors stopped by Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. The rained out main event from May 21 was led to the green by Chelsie Kriegisch and Kole Holden. Holden won the battle to lead the first circuit with Shea, Kriegisch and Ayden Cipriano following. The top four remained the same through lap 11 when Holden retired with mechanical woes. Shea cruised to the win, his second of the season at the Imperial, PA oval, with Kriegisch a season best second. Third through fifth were Cipriano, Tony Tatgenhorst, and Jacob Jordan.

Garrett Krummert was the victor in the regularly scheduled RUSH Sportsman Modified main event. It was just Krummert's second start of the year a he's now two-for-two with his 23rd career win in the division. J.C. Boyer, Tatgenhorst, Cipriano and Kriegisch completed the top five.

The lone Hovis Auto and Truck Supply Sprint Car event this past weekend was held at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Nolan Groves and Brian Hartzell led the field to the green, but it was fourth place starter Chad Ruhlman who took the lead on lap one and went on to score the win in the non-stop event for his first Equipment Rental Options Weekly Series victory of 2022, but all-time division leading 36th of his career. Youngster Blaze Meyers, Hartzell, Groves and Brian Cressley finished second through fifth respectively.

Veteran Dennis Lunger, Jr. continued his win streak in RUSH Pro Mod action at Stateline Speedway as he scored his third consecutive victory at the Busti, NY oval after taking the lead on the seventh circuit. Zain Harvey, Adam Ashcroft, Chad Carlson, and Tyler Sutton would round out the top five.

In RUSH Pro Mod action at Bradford, Lunger tallied the big $1,300 win for the weekend sweep. Lunger's first Bradford win was his fourth overall in Hovis Weekly Series action in 2022. Steve Dixon, Al Brewer, Zain Harvey and Critter Hemphill were second through fifth.

Cody Rickard won his third straight RUSH Stock Car event at Stateline Speedway on Saturday night giving the rookie six overall in Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Weekly Series action.

Winners in RUSH Karting action at Stateline Speedway were: Bexley Smith (Amateur); Emily Heisler (JR-1); Julian Hultin (JR-) and Morgan Curry (Adult).

RUSH Late Model competitors’ had the night off at Raceway 7, Dog Hollow Speedway, Potomac Speedway and Winchester Speedway, while Mother Nature scored the win at Eriez Speedway.

Coming up this weekend RUSH Late Model action is scheduled for Raceway 7, Dog Hollow, Tyler County, and The Hill on Friday. Saturday night RUSH racing action is in tap at Pittsburgh, Skyline, Stateline, Winchester Raceway ($1,200) and Woodhull Raceway. Sunday night RUSH racing action is scheduled for both Eriez Speedway and Bradford Speedway. Genesee is off for the next two Saturdays, but were in action on Thursday night (June 16)

The RUSH Sportsman Modified teams will be in competition at Sharon Speedway on Saturday as it is their eighth annual “Manufacturers Night” presented by MSD in addition to an $800 to-win Flynn's Tire Touring Series event.

RUSH Sprint Car action is scheduled for Friday, June 17 for the first time ever at Knox Raceway with the winner receiving $1,000. The division will also be in action Saturday at Sharon Speedway

Potomac Speedway and Delaware International Speedway will not be in action this weekend.
