Tickets on Sale for the 11th Annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout

(September 19th, 2016) – With fall only days away, race fans can now start preparing for their winter racing vacation this January at one of the most prestigious racing events of the year.  Tickets for the 2017 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout at Arizona Speedway are now available.

The warmth and sunshine will be abundant as will the racing action as racers and fans from across the country and Canada migrate to the warmer southwest climate for the 11th edition of the blockbuster event taking place January 7-15.

For the first time in the history of the Wild West Shootout, Arizona Speedway outside Phoenix will host all six nights of racing featuring the best of the best in Super Late Models, USRA Modifieds and X-Mods all chasing more than $200,000 in prize money.

Six-day General Admission tickets for this historical event can be purchased for just $100 giving race fans and opportunity to enjoy all six nights for less than $17 per night. Single day tickets are just $20 with the Sunday $12,000 to win Wild West Shootout finale being only $25.  Fans that take advantage of the 6-day discounted pass will enjoy the final night of the Wild West Shootout absolutely free.

National Super Late Model star Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, Ga., went head-to-head with Darrell Lanigan of Union, Ky., and Don O’Neal of Martinsville, Ind., in the 2016 Wild West Shootout as “Superman� picked up half of the mini-series wins with Lanigan reaching victory lane in round five and O’Neal capturing the opening round and night four of the series. Davenport earned the $11,000 top prize in the finale, launching him to the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout Late Model championship Presented by Black Diamond/Club 29 and M&W Transport.

Iowa’s Todd Schute topped the 2016 Mesilla Valley Transportation/Border International USRA Modified Wild West Shootout championship while Bloomer, Wisconsin’s Grant Southworth captured the X-Mod Championship.

More than 160 of the top cars and drivers from across the continent will take to Arizona’s Speedway 3/8-mile oval over the six-day event that begins on Sat., Jan. 7, with the Wild West Shootout opener and concludes with the $12,000 finale on Sun., Jan. 15. Complete nights of racing will take place Sat., Jan. 7, Sun., Jan. 8, Wed., Jan. 11, Fri., Jan. 13, Sat., Jan. 14, and Sun., Jan. 15. Saturday and Sunday races will go green at 5 p.m. with Wednesday and Friday events starting at 7 p.m.
