Bryan Hulbert - CALHAN, Colo. (September 16, 2025) The countdown has ticked to one, and the 2025 chase to the championship for the ASCS Western Plains Region will be settled on Saturday, September 20, at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colo.
With only 40 points to spare going into the Colorado showdown, Bryan Gossel leads the charge over defending series champion, Adam Trimble.
Twice a winner in 2025, Gossell's first win of the season was at the Colorado oval in May. Winning again in June at I-76 Speedway, Gossell brings four top fives and six top tens into the weekend. For Trimble, his win came in the most recent visit to El Paso County on September 6. Likewise, at four top fives, Trimble has collected five top tens.
Wins and other finishes aside, two nights with the National Tour of the American Sprint Car Series have also helped make the difference for Gossell, earning 265 points compared to Trimble's 251.
