Bryan scores Top-5 finish at Selinsgrove, Jim comes in eighth

His third Top-5 outing of the season came at Pennsylvania’s Selinsgrove Speedway while competing with the Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series.
“Selinsgrove Speedway has always been one of my best tracks and Saturday was a good night for us,” Bryan Bernheisel commented. “We’re still tweaking the setup on this car but a Top-5 against this field, we’ll take it. A big thanks to everyone who supports our program.”
Drawing 27 Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series entries, Bryan followed up the second fastest lap overall in time trials with a heat race victory. Gaining one spot in the $3,000-to-win feature, Bernheisel notched a third-place finish behind Rick Eckert, Gregg Satterlee, and Jeff Rine. Jim Yoder rounded out the Top-5.
Behind the wheel of the Denny Superko-owned No. 31 Late Model, Jim Bernheisel timed in 13th fastest in qualifying before placing fifth in his heat race. Starting the 40-lap A-Main in 13th, Bernheisel marched forward six spots to register an seventh-place finish.
