Electric City Speedway Hosting NSA Series for 23rd annual Montana Round Up Tripleheader Sept. 1-3

Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (Aug. 23, 2017) – The NSA Series will invade Electric City Speedway during Labor Day Weekend for the 23rd annual Montana Round Up, which is the only tripleheader on the 2017 schedule.

The bullring in Great Falls, Mont., will host the 360ci winged sprint car series, along with the ASCS Frontier Region, Sept. 1-3. All three nights will be complete shows that pay $1,500 to win and there is an additional points fund for the top three in overall event points.

Electric City Speedway has showcased five previous NSA Series races this season with four different drivers reaching Victory Lane. Current points leader Casey Adams has a pair of victories – the season opener and the most recent race – while J.J. Hickle, Travis Rilat and Chance Crum have each scored a single win.

Adams heads into the tripleheader with a 95-point lead in the championship standings over defending series champion Kelly Miller. Sean MacDonell is only 145 points behind Adams and 30 points ahead of David Miller. Trever Kirkland rounds out the top five in the standings.

Additionally, IMCA modifieds will compete for $500 to win during all three nights while WISSOTA midwest modifieds will race on Sept. 1, WISSOTA super stocks are on the program on Sept. 2 and WISSOTA street stocks are on the docket for Sept. 3.

The event points fund pays the sprint car champion an additional $500, second place nets $300 and third place gets $200. The IMCA modifieds champion will receive $250, second place is awarded $150 and third place will be given $100.

The pits open at 4 p.m. and front gates will open at 6 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m. all three nights.

Nightly tickets are $17 for adults and $14 for senior citizens and students ages 13-years-old to 17-years-old each night. Children ages 12-years-old and younger get in free with a paying adult. Tickets are $2 cheaper per person when purchased in advance.
