Cottage Grove, Oregon- The Wingless Sprint Series returns to action this Saturday, July 7th to Cottage Grove Speedway for their biggest race of the year. The Herz Precision Parts Wingless Nationals will feature a large payday of $2000.00 to the winner. Kyle Miller has won every single time this race has been held.

The Wingless Nationals began in 2009 and has went from a one-day to a two-day race through the years. It has been held every season since ’09 with the exceptions of 2012, 2015, and 2016. This year will debut a pole shootout that is sure to keep the crowd on their toes.

In 2018 two-time defending champion, Rob Lindsey, and Tim Alberding are tied for the most wins this year, with two each. Lindsay Barney and Kyle Miller are the only two single race victors.

Kyle Miller has five career wins with the WSS. All five of those triumphs have come at Cottage Grove since the series started visiting the historic ¼-mile clay oval in 2016. Cooper Desbiens, Rob Lindsey, and Tim Alberding are the only other feature winners when the tour has visited CGS. For the latest news and information log on to wingless.nwextremeseries.com .
