Wilmot Raceway 5.7.16

Todd Lehr of Genoa City captured the 20-lap Meyer Services Wisconsin Wingless Sprints presented by the IRA feature in the new group's inaugural appearance.
"My crew did a great job working on setting and re-setting the car," Lehr said. "If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have gotten the win."
Lehr took the lead following a restart for a mid-race caution, overtaking front running Mike Sullivan of Burlington. Sullivan followed Lehr at the finish for a career best second place finish. Jake Kouba of Minneapolis, Minnesota was third, Bristol's Chris Klemko fourth and Salem's George Gaertner Jr. fifth.

Next up for Wilmot Raceway is Family Night on Saturday, May 14 featuring the Wisconsin Wingless Sprints, Modifieds, Wisconsin-Illinois Mini-Sprints plus the season debuts for both the street stocks and Bandit 4-Cylinder stock cars. The Raceway is located on the Kenosha County Fairgrounds. Family Night grandstand admission is $12.00 for adults ages 12 and over with children ages 11 and under admitted free.
