GLSS-Great Lakes Super Sprints
GLSS 2021 RACING SCHEDULE RELEASED
Merrill, MI – Great Lakes Super Sprints presented by Engine Pro & ARP is pleased to announce our 2021 racing schedule for our upcoming 6th season!
At this point, we have 14 weekends of racing with 9 of those weekends being double race weekends. We have 10 different tracks at this time, 8 in Michigan and 2 in Ohio. GLSS will be returning to Fremont Speedway for the first time since the 2017 season. We will also be making our first ever appearance at Wayne County Speedway in Orville, OH.
The main outline of our schedule is finalized, but unfortunately we have a few TBA’s with a few new tracks we are working with. Our hope is to finalize these TBA dates in the next couple weeks.
Our season will kick off April 16th at I-96 Speedway. We will have 2, two race weekends at I-96 with the first big one coming May 7th and 8th when GLSS squares off with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour. Our last weeknd at I-96 will be a double weekend, featuring all 3 groups of Great Lakes Sprints on Saturday night.
We will also feature all 3 Great Lakes Sprints groups at Merritt Speedway on July 10th and Tri-City Motor Speedway on August 6th. Our Points Championship will be part of an all open wheel weekend, starting on Friday, September 10th and cumulating at Merritt Speedway on Saturday, September 11th where our 2021 Champion will be crowned.
We also pleased to visit Hartford, Thunderbird, Crystal and Butler and Mt Pleasant Speedways.
